Idaho Child Find

If you have questions about your infant or toddler's development, Idaho Child Find can provide developmental screening and monitoring free of charge to families. Children identified by Idaho Child Find as needing further evaluations to determine needs and eligibility for direct early intervention services are referred to the regional early intervention specialist.

Developmental monitoring and screening is for any child, birth to three. Parents receive a questionnaire about the baby's development in the mail every four months. It is reviewed by a qualified health care professional, who sends you the results. This gives you information about how your baby is developing language, thinking, physical coordination, and other skills.

For more information or screening, contact your local health district and ask for your Idaho Child Find Coordinator, or call Idaho CareLine at 2-1-1 or 1-800-926-2588 or 208-332-7205 (TDD).
